I Love the whole idea of the stock market even though I don’t know much about it I have done some research. I was thinking about doing this for a job and if I get a lot of money I can move into long term trading. The reason you would want move towards long term trading is because short term trading is taxed while long term or over a year of holding stock they won’t tax you.

I have been rowing for about 2 months now in my local club. From Monday to Thursday we start at 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. I first start by putting my name on the board, next we run 4 laps or do sprints up and down the bridge. After sprints/laps, we take our boats out and get on the water, we always have a workout we need to do. after our workout we clean our boats and put them into the boat house.

Enders Game by Orson Scott Card

Ender Wiggin is a third(a third is a third child that is born because you are only allowed to have 2 children).Ender is being bullied a lot at school because he is a third. Stillson is one of the bullies at his school and one day he antagonizes Ender so much that he fights back and wins. What Ender didn’t know was that he was being monitored for battle school so the next day Colonel Graff comes to his door to offer him a place there.
On the ship, someone starts hitting him on the head so he starts timing it and when the time is right he grabs the arm and throws a boy named bernard but brakes his arm. While at battle school they throw him into the hardest position but he makes it through soon they let him have a team to play in a game that’s like freeze tag.
Ender gets a whole new team all the people do not know what they are doing because they just got to battle school. The whole team goes through hardships, but they never lose a game even when there are 2 teams against them at one time. The adults start trying to break Ender by sending him into hard situations. After they pushed him hard they sent him to commander school where he trained in his simulator with his friends. One day they secretly sneaked him into a simulator to where he was actualy contolling the ship. Ender kills all of the aliens and wins the battle.

On Tuesday, I did a dissection of a sheep’s pluck(a sheep’s pluck is a group of organs) this time we had the respiratory system. When we got there we discussed how to use the scalpel and other safety rules. After instruction, we were given a scalpel and a pluck. First we cut the trachea off and stuck our finger into the lung to feel the bronchi tubes the split off into each lung. Second we cut the right lung off and then into 3 pieces. We each grabbed one and squeezed the surfactant (fluid in the lungs to keep it from ripping the tissue) out of the lungs. After that, we washed our hands then left.

Dear Future Corbin

I am writing to you from the past using what is called the internet I don’t know if it will be around in a year but who knows. Right now in the past there are a bunch of people who listen to a song called Lean On by Major Lazor. Agree to say this song sucks because it is not that good if that song is still popular.Your best friends are Sam Eberhardt and Nick Leblanc.
Here are 3 of my goals I have set and see if I have completed them. Number One – Help out around the house more. This means doing more than chores or what people ask for you to do aka above and beyond. Number Two – Find out what job you want to get and pursue it. Right now I am thinking about being a Nurse Practioner since male nurses are in demand for lifting obese people or other tasks that require strength. Number Three – To learn more and to get smarter. Continue reading and doing schoolwork.
Today it is Friday, September 4, 4:00 in the afternoon and the Micah and Charles / Chuck are home. The Little Ones are home and I am gonna spend the night Nicky’s house so bye future Corbin Matlock.

This story starts with a married surgeon by the name of Gulliver from Nottingham, England. Gulliver loves traveling possibly more than his family. One day on one of his adventures he gets washed up on an island and is captured by little people when he is sleeping they take him to their emperor. After that, the leader is great friends with Gulliver and asks him to help him capture an enemy who he has been battling. But still the little people want to blind him and starve him because he is eating so much of their food. After Gulliver hears of this, he just leaves after a random human sized boat appears on the shores. He rows to Australia and finds a boat back to England.
After that Gulliver couldn’t get enough and went back adventuring around and gets shipwrecked again on an island called Brobdingnag this time it is giants and not small people. The queen takes Gulliver as her pet for her amusement. He was in constant danger and bees the size of birds trying to kill him and stab him, a puppy almost tramples him, and a monkey mistakes him for his own and tried to stuff him full of food. Finally after a weird turn of events he ends up in England. He only stays for only two months when he is in Vietnam, and he sees an overhead shadow, and it turns out to be the flying island of little people. Gulliver also visits glubbdubdrib an island of sorcerers where he gets to meet ghosts of old historical people. And Houyhnhnm land where horses ruled humans and they were polite so polite that on him a way to Portugal he nearly jumps off.
After he comes back from his adventures, he is disgusted that he had three children with his wife he can barely be in the same room with them.
Lesson learned from Gulliver is that the more you see humans, the less you want to be one.

Animal Farm is a book setting set on a farm in 1945. It starts on the Manor Farm where a smart pig named Old Major gave a speech. He explained how the humans were enslaving these animals and only feeding them enough to keep the breath in their bodies he hoped the animals to overthrow the humans one day.
Three days later old Major died. The next night the animals gathered together to overthrow Mr. Jones! The next day the pigs (the smartest animals on the farm) made seven commandments. Whatever goes upon 2 legs is an enemy, whatever is on 4 legs or has wings is a friend, no animal shall wear clothes, no animal shall sleep in a bed, no animal shall kill another animal, all animals are equal.
A couple of months later Jones came back to try to take the farm back. He came with a few other farmers, and Mr. Jones had a pistol. Napoleon and Snowball led the attack because they were both pigs. After the attack, the only one hurt by the attack was snowball he got hurt by a bullet from Jones’s gun (which he left behind). The battle was later known as the Battle of Cowshed.
Later that year Mollie one of the younger horses is lured off the farm by sugar and ribbons (that are all she cared about). After that, the pig named Snowball starts drawing plans for a windmill he claimed would give each of their stalls hot, cold water and electricity. But Napoleon is a power hungry pig, and he summons a pack of dogs to chase Snowball off the farm forever. So after that there were no one else to debate against his power. Squealer a persuasive pig and one of the smartest works for Napoleon. Squealer is the spokesperson for Napoleon, and he says that the whole time Napoleon was the original pig to think of the windmill idea. He didn’t want snowball to take all the credit.
And as the farm progresses the other animals are getting fed less and less while the pigs get all the food because they are said to be the smarter animals. Squealer said they needed it because they are the organizers, Filers, Teachers, etc. of the entire farm, and they would be nowhere without them. Boxer, the incredibly strong horse, continues the building of the windmill. Napoleons leadership gets so bad that he forces innocent animals to commit to their affiliations with Snowball and say that they tried to kill him they were killed on the spot.
In August, the windmill was finished, and they were going to sell a pile of wood to a human. They end up giving it to Fredrick who is one of the neighbors. It turned out that the bank notes were forged all along! Soon after that the farmers tried to take the farm back for themselves but fail the only thing they did was blow up the windmill that took them one year. Then one night the pigs change the rules to 5 commandments, 4 legs good 2 legs better (because the pigs started to walk on to legs and carried whips too), no animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets, no animal shall drink alcohol to excess, no animal shall kill another animal without cause. Later they only reduced it to all animals are equal but some are more equal than others.
After that Boxer had devoted himself to build the new windmill but collapses and Napoleon calls a horse slaughterer instead of a doctor that is what he said he would do. So the power thirsty pig gets money for selling the horse to the slaughter house. After that the animals say that it said horse slaughterer on the side of the truck but Squealer said that it was just because they were borrowing the truck, and he died a peaceful death and the animals believe him too.
The last scene of the book is when the animals look through the window and can’t tell which is which the pig from the humans. The pigs are even playing cards with one of the neighbors named Pilkington and drinking alcohol.

Name History:

Silicon Valley is an in the lower part of San Francisco. The name originated from the famous silicon chip used by computers. The valley was a place of major history outlet because of its transistors that were made and produced there. Silicon Valley was put on the map by inventors like William Shockley, Robert Joyce, etc.

The Traitorous Eight:

They got their name because of their so-called “betrayal” to Shockley (another man who makes transistors who they were working for before they all left) and there were eight people who left and joined Fairchild’s semiconductors. They also made products for N.A.S.A. to put on their space ship.

The Internet:

After the internet had become, popular Silicon Valley became a hot spot for many dot-com companies. Since this boom was coming to San Francisco The real estate economy started to boom. Even though some of those companies flunked, but many still rule the web like Netflix, Ebay, and Google

Johannes Kepler studied heliocentrism at a University in 1590. Kepler started as an assistant for Tycho Brain 1600 – 1601 and helped observe planet’s orbits but he assumed the orbit was a circle. He first started by looking at Mars. During different times, Mars seemed to have sped by and slowed down. He couldn’t seem to figure out what was causing it. Then the same year Tycho Brain died and told Kepler to keep looking at the stars. Kepler tried to find the mathematical  explanation for the movement of Mars. Kepler had failed 40 times before he found out the formula for Mars’ orbit which took five years. Then Kepler realized it must be an ellipse in 1605 which formulated Kepler’s law of planetary motion. Four years later he published his findings in Astronomia Nova and suggested all planets move in elliptical patterns. Kepler also said that, “They move fast near the sun and slower the further from the sun you are.” He argued that the sun pulls the planets to make them go faster the closer they are to the sun.
